I wanted to write a letter of reference or rather applause for Carol Whitley as a real estate agent. Back in February I bought a house in Simi Valley. I found the house with a different agent but did not feel that this agent would represent me or be connected with the type of people who could help me the most. So at the outset I insisted on Carol's involvement as a referral agent. I was not to be disappointed. Carol was the one who supplied me with quality people that could get the job done while simultaneously looking out for my financial interests: Even though both agents gave me lists of choices for everyone from the inspector to the lender in every case the best man for the job came from Carol's list. In addition she was a true Godsend at dealing with all the necessary players in this very emotional purchase: At one point I found myself standing in the escrow office where nothing that was supposed to be ready was. I was risking being late for work so I called Carol. She arranged, with no fuss or problem, to have the papers brought to me by a notary. She even absorbed the cost.
But even more than how she helped with my purchase I have been impressed by her professionalism in working with my daughter.
I referred Carol to Brandessa who purchased a property in Santa Monica. There are so many ways in which Carol has gone above and beyond the call that I must say I have never known a more efficient, thorough or thoughtful associate in my life. Our family is challenging to say the least. For example Carol has been placed in many difficult positions with the various sellers agents by the fact that my daughter was bringing her autistic twenty-five year old brother along to many of the dealings. Carol handled everything my strangely loud son did as if it were completely run of the mill.
She seems able to intercept whatever idiosyncrasies we throw at her, smooth out the wrinkles and get the job done with an immeasurable amount of warmth and love.
She is a true gem.
