My parents moved into their Westwood home in 1958. Over the years, many real estate agents came by to solicit their favor towards the day when they would sell their home. So when mother passed in September of 2010 at the age of 98, I was faced with a collection of agents and a big question: out of all of these, who was experienced, trustworthy, and had the integrity to represent my sister and me to sell mother's home, since we both lived out of the area?

I interviewed several agents but did not feel totally comfortable with any of them. It was the owner of the estate sale business I hired who said, "There is only one agent you should use: Chad Lund. I had to trust his recommendations on the bids. And throughout, I learned that he truly knows his business. We received a price above our wildest dreams and buyers that met our fondest desires.

Furthermore, his character and positive attitude are exemplary. He does what he says he will, when he says he will, cheerfully. In my opinion, Chad Lund is a model for other real estate agents to follow. Yes, Chad did a 'fabulous job' for us. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

I spent several months searching for an agent to sell my house, and eventually narrowed my choice to just four. All were smart and qualified, but, with each one, there was some doubt. Fortunately, I happened across an ad for Teles Properties and Chad Lund. I noticed that Teles had the best statistics for sales closest to asking price and least number of days on the market. I asked around about Chad, and the reports were uniformly positive. 

Chad prepared a comparative market analysis. It was clear that his understanding of the market was much deeper and more detailed than any of the other agents. With him, every box on my list of qualifications was checked. Further, his estimate of the sale price was very close to what my research had suggested.

After listing, Chad got his team to work immediately. The house was exquisitely staged and he had a large number of buyers at the first showing. We had multiple offers within a week, and soon had an offer above the asking price.

My husband and I gave Chad Lund a difficult task, and he came through wonderfully.  We had recently purchased a new home, and needed to sell our existing home very quickly. The trick was that it was during the holiday season, and we still wanted to get fair market value for our home. We met with and interviewed several real estate agents. Most of them 'local market experts' . Given our time constraints, almost all of the other agents suggested we list our home at a very low price --- much lower than we thought was fair. We felt many of these agents were more concerned with selling us, then selling our house  --- i.e., convincing us to list our house at a rock-bottom price so that it would move quickly for them. Only Chad, suggested listing at a higher price --- one that was still competitive, but closer to what we felt our home was worth. We felt he was more genuinely interested in getting a fair price for our house, even if the risk was slightly higher.

Within one week of signing up with Chad as our agent, we had seven offers on our home. Several of them over asking. In the end we selected an offer that was well over asking. My husband and I strongly feel that if we had gone with any of the other agents we would have netted significantly less for our home. In addition, to the bottom line, Chad was a pleasure to work with. From literally 30 showings, to two open houses Chad was always the one we dealt with. He was always very responsive and accessible.

Bottom line for us is that Chad's expertise in the local market, combined with his easy going, but still 'on-top-of things' style was precisely what we needed.

We would be happy to work with him again in the future (although as my husband tells me --- no more houses for a very long time!).
