Going through the process of selling a home is never something anyone looks forward to. Words that pop into one’s mind include hassle, overwhelming, stressful, a huge amount of work, too many known and unknown details, and confusing at the very least. Having gone through this process four times over the last seven years, we know what we’re talking about.
Then something almost magical happened: we were introduced to Heather and Learka at Teles Properties. Never in our lives have we met more professional, helpful, accessible, knowledgeable people. From the moment we met them until escrow closed, selling our house was a remarkable experience. They were brilliant in coming up with the “right” price; their marketing (including photographs and descriptions) was impeccable; staging of the house was one-of-a-kind; every detail of the house inspections was handled without our personal involvement; helpful and informative daily communications and updates were the norm. Heather and Learka made themselves available to answer question 24 hours a day (literally).
At the end of it all, we asked Heather and Learka what else in our lives they might handle! If only that were the case. They are simply one-of-a-kind and THE VERY BEST.

To be quite honest, I had no idea what I was getting into when I first approached Heather and Learka to begin searching for my first home. The reality is that while I was strangely over confident initially, I didn’t truly know what I wanted in a house or what it would require to find the perfect match.
Looking back now, I can’t imagine having gone through this without the help and guidance these two exceptionally talented women provided. Their patience in my process helped me greatly in my evolution from a naïve shopper to a happy homeowner. There was never a time when I felt a phone call or a question was too out of line or beneath them or their time. No matter how many houses I ended up needing to see, they were always there waiting for me with smiles on their faces and options for me to think about. They truly had an ability to make me feel that each of my ever-changing wants and concerns were a top priority for them as well.
When we finally found my home they worked with me tirelessly through the second half of the process to help me receive the right deal and to secure the paperwork and inspections necessary to make sure that I was confident in moving forward. As we walked through the doors the first today together I was not only glad that I had picked my house but thankful that Heather and Learka had helped my find it.

We did it!!
Do you remember when we couldn’t agree on a single house? One of us wanted that one in the hills with the views and the other wanted that one in the flats with the yard. One wanted a basement to hang with his boys (you know who that was) and one wanted a real living room without a television in it. We both wanted to be in a good neighborhood and able to walk to restaurants, but after four years in an apartment complex we were craving some real privacy. And, of course, we were on a budget. We were the impossible clients!
Our new house has everything. Amazing. The view. The yard. The basement (we call it the Man-Cave.) The sunlit living room. Great neighbors, restaurants and shops just down the street (including a Saturday am farmer’s market!) And, we will have a ton of privacy if our friends ever vacate our new deck.
We love our new home. We appreciate all the patience and hard work you put in to helping us find it and guide us throughout the entire process. We very literally couldn’t have done it without you. We’re in our first home, the right home, and at the right price, thanks to you.
Now, if we could start looking for a vacation place….one of us is thinking mountains, one of us wants beach. You can arrange that, too, right?
