Karen Greensweig
In what is perhaps the nation’s most diverse, dynamic and desirable real estate marketplace, Karen Greensweig has achieved and maintained an exceptional position of respect and appreciation. Her knowledge, leadership and commitment to raising the ethical standards and practices of the industry have earned Karen the esteem of clients, peers and even competitors. “One of the proudest moments of my long career was being selected by my fellow agents as the agent they would choose to represent them in a personal transaction,” Karen says.
Licensed in 1977, Karen admits that she was already “obsessed with real estate by the time I was 16.” Born in Chicago, she moved to Los Angeles in the third grade, graduated from Beverly Hills High and studied art history and psychology at UCLA and U.C. Berkeley. A Bruin at heart, she nonetheless married a graduate of USC.
Karen’s detailed knowledge of the market, transaction skills and good-humored patience made her a natural fit for management positions, which she has held continuously since 1994. “I seem to be the go-to person for transaction questions,” Karen comments.
As managing director of the Teles Properties Beverly Hills office, Karen’s goal is “to provide my fellow agents with the resources they need to offer their clients exceptional service – to be involved in educating, preparing and guiding them, showing respect for all and helping to raise the ethical practices and standards of our industry.”
