About Me
Marty Trugman
For more than three decades, Marty Trugman has been setting the standard for Westside real estate. From a modest one-room office opened in the 1970s, Marty’s company quickly grew to three offices and 100 salespeople. In 1978, he famously sold a $2.4-million, 38-room Sunset Boulevard mansion to Sheik Mohammed al-Fassi—a property that captured headlines (and ire) for its explicitly-painted statuary.
Since that time, Marty Trugman has maintained his reputation for exceptional service provided with extraordinary confidentiality. A clientele that includes top entertainment figures—celebrities as well as producers, directors, writers, lawyers, managers, agents, and related industry personnel—gives him an unrivaled knowledge of the most desirable properties in Southern California.
“I deal one on one with each client as if it was the first home they ever bought or sold,” Marty says. “I love dealing with people.” His long experience and deep personal knowledge allow Marty to match a buyer with what they want with less effort and to offer his sellers the benefit of powerful networking and merchandizing to sell their home. “I know who to call, who has the clients,” he says.
A lifelong Beverly Hills resident (he was a star baseball player for Beverly Hills High and turned down a professional career with the L.A. Angels to go into real estate—a decision he has never regretted), Marty Trugman is still excited about selling real estate in his home town. “Selling homes on the Westside is like nowhere else in the world. It’s a very exciting and challenging time right now; I’m stepping up to the plate to accept the challenge.” At Teles Properties, Marty has found a like-minded philosophy: “quality over quantity, honesty, integrity, camaraderie and respect.”
