Teles Research
"Research is to see what everybody else has seen, and to think what nobody else has thought."
- Albert Szent-Gyorgyi
Information is the currency of today's world. The timely delivery of vital information is what keeps you ahead of the market. Our Research efforts set us apart from every other real estate company.
The media publishes its statistics based on national, state, and county trends, which distorts the public's perception of what is actually happening in their own neighborhood. At Teles Properties, we have observed that local micro-markets are often behaving quite differently than the published macro-market trends.
What is actually happening in your market is often different from what you might think or feel. Don't mistake feelings for facts. Whether you are considering a purchase or sale, having all of the facts will help you make an informed decision.
Our industry-leading research team has access to proprietary intelligent analytics and state-of-the-art technology to provide you with the most pertinent and up-to-date information. Combining continuous regional and local market analysis with the human overlay of experience, Teles Properties is geared to help our clients make an informed and intelligent decision about their most important asset–their home.

Hollywood sign saved again!

On Monday it was announced that the last of the money was raised through a donation from Hugh Hefner, of $900,000 and then a matching donation from Tiffany and Co Foundation and Aileen Getty of a further $500,000, to help the City purchase the property to keep it out of the hands of real estate developers. Arnold Schwarzenegger and the Trust of Public land led by Will Rogers have been raising money with the help of donations from Tom Hanks, Steven Spielberg, the studios, and with fundraisers held by the locals. Finally on Monday Hugh Hefner's donation brought the grand total to 12.5 million dollars, the agreed amount the owners would sell the property to the City for. This is not the first time Hugh Hefner has come to the rescue of the sign, back in the late 70's he played a major role in fundraising for the rebuilding of the then dilapidated sign. ![]()
