About Me
Nick Marck
A passion for architecture, a director’s eye for detail and a solid base of experience inform each of Nick Marck's real estate transactions. "Whether you are you are a buyer who wants to get the biggest bang for your buck or a seller who wants to realize the intrinsic value of your home, your needs and dreams become my goal," he says. "I've bought, sold and built for myself and my family, so I understand the process from all sides and I can make it easier and less stressful for you."
After earning a degree from Columbia University in New York, Nick began a successful career in the entertainment industry. He spent time in the trenches learning the nuts and bolts of filmmaking and graduated to directing TV shows such as The Wonder Years, Northern Exposure, X-Files, and Buffy, the Vampire Slayer.
Nick supervised the operation of a large multi-family complex in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He combines his practical real estate experience with the organizational and interpersonal skills learned in the world of TV directing to bring fresh energy and intelligence to every transaction.
In addition to filmmaking, Nick is a passionate fan of modern architecture. He, with wife Linda, engaged Koning-Eizenberg Architecture to design their dream house in Rustic Canyon. Nick met Charles Moore at the acclaimed Sea Ranch development on the coast in Sonoma County and collaborated with Moore colleague Donlyn Lyndon on a bluff top home in the Sea Ranch vernacular. Nick recently completed work on another beach house, on the North Shore of Oahu. It is a modern interpretation of the work of Honolulu architect Charles W. Dickey by a talented young designer, Victor Weeks.
"My clients have unique needs and circumstances. My ability to actively listen and intuit helps me to chart the right path through the twists and turns of each transaction."
