Long before Julie Lubin turned her attention to real estate, she was honing the skills that would make her successful when she did. Although she has now been a Realtor for nearly 15 years, she still relies on many of the lessons she learned in her earlier career: Hospitality.
"I was in the hospitality industry forever," she says. At Le Meridian Hotel in Newport Beach and later at Lunaria Restaurant & Jazz Club in West Los Angeles, Julie planned events, attended to myriad details and worked closely with both staff and a high-profile clientele."There's not a lot of room for error-in either catering or real estate!" Julie says. "Everything happens on a strict deadline, there are scores of people who have to be kept in the loop, and of course there are significant financial implications to every decision." Julie's understanding and expert management of complex personal and business interactions have translated well to serve her many repeat and referral real estate clients. Since 1994, she has maintained a top performing sales record and represented sellers, buyers and hundreds of properties ranging from starter homes to multi-million-dollar estates in some of the region's most desirable communities from Laguna Beach to Malibu."There are a lot of parallels," Julie says. "In both industries, to provide great service, you have to be absolutely up to date on market conditions, trends, the latest technology, pricing, contracts, timing and promotion. And of course you have to have great follow-through and love working with people, which I do." A Southern California resident for over 25 years, Julie also manages to find time for community service and involvement with her son's school. "Teles Properties shares my values.
