Peter H. Loewy, Chairman, CEO, International Attorney, began his career as an attorney with Fragomen Del Rey Bernsen and Loewy LLP. He managed a number of the firm’s offices across the United States, and led its growth internationally to eventual placement among the American Law top 200 law firms. His role culminated with his tenure as Managing Partner of the U.S. firm.
As CEO of Lowy Armstrong LLC, Peter Loewy directed the real estate development company with projects in Southern, Central and Northern California for over 20 years. During that time, the firm acquired and managed diverse real estate investments including commercial and residential leaseholds, high-end residential development and renovation projects and larger scale housing projects. Mr. Loewy has also been an Adjunct Professor of Law at the Southwestern School of Law.
Peter is originally from the east coast but has assimilated well to western living. He and his family enjoy the outdoors, sports and the arts. He is an avid tennis and squash player.
Peter Hernandez is President and Broker of Teles Properties. He oversees branch management, marketing, brokerage and transactional management, and the recruiting of agents.
Peter began his career in 1970 at the family firm Hernandez Realty, the leading agency in Marina Del Rey. He joined Jon Douglas Company in 1983 and worked as a top-producing agent until 1988 when he began his management career overseeing several offices for both Jon Douglas and Coldwell Banker as a branch manager and was later promoted to regional manager.
Most recently, Peter served as President and COO for Coldwell Banker in Orange County where he managed 17 offices and increased the sales force to approximately 1,100 agents in less than five years. During his tenure he successfully implemented three acquisitions-Dyson and Dyson Company, the Balboa Real Estate Company and Strada Properties.
Peter lives with his wife and daughter in Malibu, where he surfs, runs and golfs.
Sharran focuses on the firm's core offerings, which consist of technology, marketing, and integrated operations. Additionally, Sharran is responsible for the corporate finance strategy and Teles' proprietary research and analytics platform.
Prior to Teles, Sharran worked at Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse where he worked closely with management teams of fast-growing businesses around the country. Sharran also spent several years building recreational programs for some of the finest resorts in the world like Four Seasons and Ritz-Carlton in the Caribbean, Middle East, and Hawaii. He also has deep experience working at technology companies such as Lightera (acquired by CIENA) and Obopay, a fast-growth mobile payments company.
Sharran earned his Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Math from Luther College, where he was an Academic All-American, and his MBA with Honors from Vanderbilt University, where he currently serves on Vanderbilt's Alumni Board of Directors. Sharran also competed on the professional tennis tour and currently splits his time between the East and West coasts.
Bill Grasska is President of Riviera Financial and Portfolio Escrow, which were founded as new models for mortgage lending and escrow. Utilizing the latest state-of-the-art technology, a hybrid of mortgage banking, brokering, and escrow practices, Riviera Financial and Portfolio Escrow are setting higher standards in customer service and are providing better execution in all aspects of the lending and escrow process.
Bill has been intimately involved with mortgage lending for the past 22 years, with over $1.5 billion funding in residential, multifamily, and commercial loans. He started his career in 1986 at Glendale Federal Savings and Loan where he was awarded the title "Circle Elite," representing the top 1% of all loan production. After expanding his career into mortgage brokerage in 1992, Bill became Vice President in charge of sales at Trans Capital Mortgage. In 1995 Bill cofounded and became CEO of William Gregory Mortgage.
